Schedule

For 2022, the Mid-Continental HEMA Open will have the following tournaments:

  • Open Longsword (Open to everyone)

  • Teen Longsword (Ages 12-18)

  • Beginner’s Longsword

    • For those who have never competed or do not have much experience under their belt

  • The ‘Maupin’ Cup

    • A longsword tournament for any and all marginalized genders [e.g. cis-women, trans-women, non-binary, or trans-men]

  • Steel Saber

  • Mixed Weapon King of the Hill

    • King of the Hill, but for each bout both participants have to spin a wheel to determine their weapon. Could be a spear, or a dagger, or a rubber chicken.

  • Sword Skills and Obstacle Course

    • There will be two divisions

      • Longsword (any steel blunt or steel feder is allowed)

      • One Handed Weapons (any single handed weapon; must be steel, no synthetics)
